Are you missing out?

Do you seek out opportunities to speak with others or before a group - or do you avoid them? Are you preparing for some planned and/or spontaneous events where you can connect and grow your network – but you feel uneasy?

Do you need help overcoming some things like stage fright, social anxiety, writer’s block, procrastination, disorganization. Maybe you have some major hurdles you’d like to conquer. Or maybe you could just use some guidance, practice, or constructive feedback in a supportive space.

Would you like to advance your skills in conversation, public speaking, interviewing, preparing and rehearsing a script, writing, listening, presenting, storytelling? Would you like to have more confidence and expertise in your content and delivery?

Consider getting a coach. If you aren’t sure exactly what you want and/or need to work on, a coach can help you figure that out.

Communication coaches are professionals who help people improve their communication skills in various contexts: public speaking, interpersonal interactions, professional settings. They provide personalized guidance and feedback to enhance confidence and effectiveness.

Coaching styles differ. If you’ve tried one coach that didn’t work out, it may just be that your styles didn’t mesh. Another coach may be the perfect one for you.

During your initial meet-greet session, you can discuss what you’d like to work on. Your coach can help you decide how best to proceed to work together.

You can usually choose how often you want to schedule sessions: monthly, weekly, more often, or whenever a particular event is coming up. You can pay as you go or hire a coach on retainer for a certain number of hours per month. Your coach will likely be spending some of that time preparing activity or feedback for your next session.

You might decide to role-play an interview, ask for feedback on a piece of writing or resume, practice presenting for a speech, prepare for difficult conversations. You might like individual coaching and/or coaching for your group or team.

A coach can offer emotional support through feedback on your process and progress. If you’re working on a project and feel overwhelmed, a coach can provide support to help you get past the block. Imaging working through to the other side and actually enjoying what was once intimidating or frustrating. Imaging what that could do for your future.
